Acrylic

Bobbie Gayle Lewis is a self-taught Kentucky artist; finding her passion in painting after retiring.  Her art is on exhibit in multiple shows and has sold to collectors across the country.  Bobbie Gayle is well known for her paintings of birds, animals, still life, and landscapes in her preferred medium, acrylic paints.    Bobbie Gayle is never happier than when she is sitting at her easel with brush in hand creating from imagination and memory and applying it to canvas.

Jo is a Kentuckian who returned home after 25 years. She grew up in Falmouth, Ky and was an art student throughout her primary and secondary school education; a student of both Diane Platt & Brenda McGinnis.
 

Jo attended Clayton State University in Morrow, GA and graduated with her Bachelor of Music in 1998, she continued to practice her art. In the early 2000’s, Jo became more active with her painting and drawing, picking up continuing education classes at Savannah College of Art & Design - Atlanta, studying with Nan McGarity & Carolyn Fuller.
 

After moving to Alaska in 2008, employed by the Federal Aviation Administration, Jo took up the brush again with a focus on color statements of deep personal emotion and experience.

OIL

After retiring from a career in finance, I decided to devote myself to becoming a better painter with the intent of also teaching others. I became focused on expanding my painting skills and to that end traveled across the country attending painting workshops with several gifted professional artists. Their mentoring and willingness to share their knowledge helped totally in developing my painting style. I am a Wilson Bickford Trained Teacher and a MazArt Associated Painting Partner authorized to teach their designs and methods. I also teach my own designs in both acrylic and oil ranging from landscapes, still life, florals, animals and portraits. I thoroughly enjoy creating and teaching art, sharing the delight of painting with others

 Photography 

Geri Trinler has been interested in photography since grade school and she has been drawing and painting most of her life. The computer has allowed her to bring many of her artistic skills together.   She spent many years supporting herself in the publishing world using computer graphics and desk top publishing. In recent years, the amazing computer programs available to photographers have provided her with unlimited possibilities to express her creativity.
